Melbourne United have jumped back into third position on the Hungry Jack's NBL ladder after thrashing the Sydney Kings by 26 points at Hisense Arena.
A big Monday night crowd of 8,194 watched the home team put on dazzling display and inflict more pain on the hapless Kings with a dominant 95-69 victory.
United put on a show for their fans, lead by its stars, Chris Goulding (23 points, 6 rebounds) and Casper Ware (15 point, 7 assists) who was back to his flashy best. Josh Boone (17 points) had the most rebounds in a game this season, pulling down 17 boards.
The Kings are now stuck at bottom of the NBL ladder and will have Andrew Gaze searching for more answers. Jeremy Tyler (13 points, 5 rebounds) became involved in heated exchange with Dave Anderson and Chris Goulding late in the game and had to be dragged away by the Kings' coaching staff.
The Jerome Randle vs Casper Ware match up didn't live up to expectations as Randle appeared to be feeling the effects of the flu and struggled to have a major impact on the game.
