Simon Patmore Wins Gold

Patmore enters Australian Paralympic history breaking a 16 year Winter gold medal drought

Simon Patmore is the boy from Nundah, Queensland who has now become a permanent fixture in Australian Paralympic history, with his breakthrough gold medal in the snowboard cross at the PyeongChang Winter Games.

Commonwealth Games and Summer Paralympics help Patmore win gold in PyeongChang

Australia's newest gold medallist Simon Patmore would like to thank his Commonwealth Games and Summer Paralympics racing for helping him add a Paralympic winter medal to his collection.

The 30-year-old Queenslander's previous life, before snowboarding at the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games, was as an international sprinter.

He has the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games 100m T46 gold medal and the London 2012 Paralympic Games 200m T46 bronze to prove it.
