Voting is neck and neck in the Colonial First State Sports Boost with Victorian gymnast Madelaine Leydin sitting in second place as she competes to win $10,000.

Maddi was selected to be a part of the program prior to the 2013 Australian Gymnastics Championships where she won her first Senior All Around national title.

"When I was selected to be a part of the Colonial First State Sports Boost my family and friends were thrilled for me. My family is really supportive and they are really happy and proud that I am part of it," said Leydin.

If she was to win the major prize, Gymnastics Australia would also be awarded $15,000.

"It would help with finances such as buying leotards, physio and massage. It would also help Gymnastics Australia who have helped me a lot and supported me throughout my career. It will help them help others, particularly younger athletes," said Leydin.

Vote Now

Visit the Colonial First State Facebook page to vote for Maddi as your Sports Boost Hero or click the 'vote now' button above. Voting closes 30 June.
