Go for 2&5 TeamGym

The first time this event was introduced to WA was only one year ago and this year
TeamGym has come round again having grown dramatically. With the unique rules of this event, how can you not be intrigued? TeamGym is huge in Europe, with strong teams of all levels and backgrounds, pitting their skills and teamwork against other teams. The Australian TeamGym program has been developed for teams of gymnasts, with performances on three different apparatus: Floor, Tumbling and Mini-trampoline.

Teams can have a minimum of six and maximum of twelve members but depending on individual strengths, not everyone needs to perform on every apparatus.

The event will be held on Sunday 21st August at the State Gymnastics Centre from 9.30am, so be sure to come along and see for yourself and experience an amazing atmosphere and join in to cheer on all the teams.

It's that time of year again, with the prestigious Go for 2&5 GWA Autumn State Championships just around the corner being held from the
29th April – 1st May 2016.

Gymnastics WA would like to invite you to show your enthusiastic support for all our competitors who have worked hard to get to this State Championship event.

The performances at these Championships will be at a very high level! We are delighted to say the gymnasts who have represented Australia at the Olympics, World Championships, Commonwealth Games and Australian Youth Olympic Festival will be competing against our up and coming gymnasts for the
State Championship title.

The Championships also serve as an important lead up event for the forthcoming Australian Gymnastic Championships to be held at Hisense Arena in Melbourne from the 23rd May – 4th June 2016.

We will also be having GK Elite Sportwear attending the event from Sydney, so be sure to come along and get yourself some new Gymnastics Apparel.
