2016 Performance Player Camp 2 Report

The second Performance Player Camp of the year was recently held at Terrace Squash Centre (April 12-16). After the huge success of the first Performance Player Camp held in January, we once again approached former Scottish Squash Head Coach Roger Flynn to deliver the second in our series of three camps. 

2016 Hilton Masters Classic Results

The 2016 Hilton Masters Classic was recently held on April 16-17 at Hilton Squash & Fitness. 

2016 Nexus Geraldton Open (Junior & Senior Events)

The Nexus Geraldton Open (Junior & Senior Events) will be held on May 7-8 at Geraldton Squash Centre.  

2016 City of Perth International Squash Challenge / WA Open

The 2016 City of Perth International Squash Challenge incorporating the WA Open events will be held at Terrace Squash Centre from the 27th – 29th May. The event will include PSA 5k events for both Men and Women. There will also be graded events for local players. 

Pilbara Regional Championships

The inaugural Pilbara Regional Squash Championships is being hosted by Hedland Squash Club over the WA Day long weekend June 3-5. The Championships is an individual tournament, open to nomination for players who are members of a Pilbara Squash Club and registered with WA Squash.

WA Squash Christmas Message

The Board of Management & the Staff of WA Squash would like to wish everyone a happy & safe Christmas and a very successful 2016 Squash year!

Farewell North Beach / West Coast Squash

You are invited to attend a get together on Sunday, 17th January 2016 to say goodbye to the North Beach / West Coast Squash Centre & Club, as it will unfortunately be demolished in the new year to make way for property development. 

Oceania Junior Championships

Good luck to the WA contingent of Juniors who will travel to the Gold Coast to compete in the 2016 Oceania Junior Championships to be held from the15 - 18 January.

Karakal Kup - Junior Age Tournament

The first WA Junior Age Tournament for 2016 is the Karakal Kup to be held on 23-24 January at Terrace Squash Centre (Level 1, Plaza Level West, Fortescue Centre, Terrace Road, East Perth).
Entries close: Friday, 8th January. 

2016 Pennant Dates - Now Available

The 2016 Pennant Dates for all 3 seasons (Autumn, Winter & Spring) are now available for viewing. 
Please note that due to Monday Public Holidays, the 2016 Autumn Season Monday draw will start a week earlier than the Tuesday & Thursday draw and also finish a week later. 
Both Mens & Ladies State Grade will also commence the same week as the Monday draw. 

Smarter Than Smoking Key Message

If you don't smoke you'll never have to worry about bad breath, yucky skin and hair and clothes that stink. People who smoke might not smell it but their mates can. Smoking - not a smart look.

WA Squash Volunteers Christmas Party

WA Squash would like to invite you and your partner to the 2015 WA Squash Volunteers Christmas Party on Friday, 4th December at the WA Squash Offices commencing at 6.00pm.

Mullaloo Squash Club Championships Open

The next senior event on the WA Squash Calendar is the 2015 Mullaloo Squash Club Championships Open. It will be held on Saturday, 21st November at Mullaloo Squash Centre. This event is open to everyone - players from any club and of any ability level are encouraged to enter. 

Busselton Halloween Open Results

The 2015 Busselton Halloween Squash Open was held on the weekend of 31 October - 1 November at the Busselton Squash Club. It was pleasing to see an increase in participants this year, which was greatly helped by large contingents of UWA and Mirrabooka players making the trip down to Busselton to compete.

NCAS Club Development Coaching Course

Club Referee Information Session with Neil Butler

In conjunction with the Club Development Coaching Course in December, WA Squash is hosting a FREE refereeing information evening onFriday, 11th December for those interested in improving their knowledge of the rules. 

Safe Clubs 4 Kids Workshops

Two separate Safe 4 Kids Workshops will be conducted in the next two weeks at the Department of Sport and Recreation. This is an ideal opportunity to gain an understanding of how your club can maintain a safe environment for children. Note that registrations are essential. RSVP byFriday of next week.
