Geelong Tennis Association Winter Pennant Bounces Into Action

The Geelong Tennis Association's Women's Winter pennant kicked off today at venues throughout the Geelong region. Women of all ages compete at graded levels to suit their abilities. No Serena's out there but they compete hard and enjoy the mid-week fixture. Usually each team will play home and away against the other competition teams with a final 4 series culminating in a divisional grand final.

Backhand winner by Leopold's Carolyn Thompson wasn't enough to win the set.

Thompson and Henderson lost the set in a tie break but Leopold won the match
